A lot of time searching FB Market Place, Craig's List, Cycletrader, so forth. To me, searching for project, negotiating a sale price, and the trip to pick it up is the the really enjoyable part of the restoration. This one involved a long drive and required staying overnight and two factors are really starting to impact the process. First is my age, pushing 76 I just don't see that well anymore, especially at night, and I sure can't push them up the ramp into back of pickup like I used too a few years back. Thankfully most of the sellers have been younger than me, (of course nearly everybody is younger than me), and willing to help with loading. Second is a concerned Wife of 38 years, she just plain does not like me out on the road for extended periods anymore and the way I feel some days I certainly understand why. I don't know how many more I have in me, but it does not stop me from sitting in front of the computer each morning with a cup of coffee and doing the obligatory searches. I don't play golf, watch a lot of football, college or pro, hunt or fish anymore, but damn it, I do enjoy playing with old motorcycles......
