Carburettor finish

Hi,
I know that the best result for finishing your carbs is ice or soda blasting, but has anyone found any chemicals or such that will improve the dark grey colour of the weathered carbs?

Steve….. Ihad some vapour blasted and they came back looking “as new” to me. Going to have the ones for my Sandcast done for sure.
