I've been using them on my 750 for about 2 yrs. now. I like them. I'm not a very aggressive rider so I can't vouch for their extreme capabilities.

I'm running them as well, with the same experience and riding style (if you want to call that style).  Price was right, my local dealer had them in stock, and I wasn't in the mood to fuss with it.

I ended up with avon venoms :/
All they had in stock, and not cheap. A harder compound, not really made for 'spirited' riding, but wears slower, so *shrug*.
Not exactly the look I was going for either.
I think I'll pick up an extra set of wheels, and get some tires that are a bit more on the 'sporting' side, and switch them off depending on what riding I'm doing.

put  'em on last fall, not many miles as of yet, price was good.

Try using a set of Kenda K657 Challenger tires. Very good grip with optimal wear, they look like modern sportbike treads and the price is right.

Even thought the rubber feels softer than the Dunlop 404's, they don't seem to wear that fast.
