CB550 stator harness question
« on: August 04, 2024, 01:25:37 PM »
I installed the electronic ignition on my 1975 CB550. I spliced it into the key on wire on the rear brake harness. I'm trying to figure out how (and where) to run thr wire harness from the stator cover to the plug. Anyone have any pics? Also, those little bendy clips that mount behind the engine cover bolts, anyone have a part number on those? Thanks again!

The stator harness runs behind the shift cover. Look on the motor above the sprocket, there should be a plastic coated clip you tuck the harness into, then route the harness out the topside rectangular cutout. From there it runs up behind the left side body panel where the stock electrics are.
