Question in the German forum: what is the length of this collar used on the CB550Fs?  https://www.cmsnl.com/products/collarrrwheel_42311390000/

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. The 42311-390-000 spacer is outside of the actual wheel assembly.  It is pressed between the left wheel bearing and the swingarm/chain adjuster, going through the sprocket carrier and seal. No idea why it only fits the '75-77 550F Supersport models, except their swingarms are also unique to this model.
I would get my hands on one from a CB500/CB550 K model (42311-323-040) to try - same ID and OD, and likely very close if not the same in length.

Just came across this that may offer more insight:

Thank you both. Domp in the UK site came closest: http://www.sohc.co.uk/index.php?topic=31309.msg301923#msg301923
Have forwarded the info on both collars to the gentleman in the German forum.

Thanks. How does that compare to the regular 500/550 part?
