hows this rocker cover look?

need some input about two areas on this cover. it is going on a full rebuild so no leaks. they are on the inside of the gasket

As long as the mating surface is flat, I’d run it without reservation. You could use a bit of JB Weld and scrape with a razor blade to shape the internal surface.

As long as its flat its fine
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

It looks adequate to me. :)

Be sure to put in a new oring to be sure it will seal properly. Old rubber gets a flat spot and won't seal.

New CB450 K7 after my friend returned...
New CB750 K5 Planet Blue, demise by ex cousin in law at 9,000 miles...
New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

thanks newday777. I remember the first time opening one up on frankenstein bike to look around just seeing how it all went together in there and then closing it back up. the first startup and alot of oil weeping all over.
