'75 CB550 Keihin Carb Question
« on: August 08, 2024, 12:37:53 PM »
Does anyone know off hand which model Keihin carb came on the 1975 CB550? I'm thinking I have to rejet my carbs, and I've found jetting kits that come with an assortment. Obviously based on some awesome advise from you all, not a permanent solution as name brand jets will be used once the proper jetting size is found, but I think I need the model of the carbs to ensure compatability for the jet kits. Thanks

Probably 022A, but you really need to check the stamp on the side of each carb.

Not all brands of jets and needles are the same, despite their “sizes”. Needles and emulsion tubes differ the most from stock, and main/idle jets unless Keihin have had issues with sealing. Just to inform you…
