Hi Team.

I am Steve Maynard-Smith from Christchurch New Zealand. I'm semi retired working 4 day weeks for Tait Communictions in the toolroom.

I have just purchased a CB400/4 (sight unseen other than photos - I was keen to get this machine!) an early model with the pillion pegs on the swing arm. It is red so it will b e fast. The bike has been in a shed for 20 plus years and comes with a new set of headers. It is all there. Looking forwrd to riding one again as I had one when they first came out.

Also own a Kawasaki Z650F1 that I rebuilt from ground up.

Away from things I am an FIM Senior Technical Steward (all disaplines) and attending MotoGP in Melbourne again this year. I am also heading to Perth later to attend World Super Cross in technical.

For Motorcycling New Zealand I am the Technical Steward and also National grade Steward for road and off road racing.

Away from motorcycling I test CAD software.

Welcome!
I just sent some parts to one of your island-mates.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

Welcome Steve!  400f is a fabulous honda.  And when you get a chance I would love to see your Z650 too.  I own several including a minty unrestored 3800 miles C1, and B1's, and a D1.
If it works good, it looks good...
