How to store cables...

I can't take any credit for this one; saw it in a buddy's garage. Take a four foot section of 4" or 6" PVC tube and mount it horizontally on the wall or even under a work bench. Store your extra cables in there to protect them from damage or loss. Just thought inquiring minds would want to know!

We've used that method for decades at my work to store polished tube, sight gauge glasses, fine spring wire, and a hundred other things besides
But it's never once occurred to me to replicate the idea back home

Seen that in a friend's garage, although his PVC pipe was filled with penetrating oil and soaking old siezed cables. (Mind you, these were old, unobtainium ones..)
