Topic: How do you like your Bell Custom 500 helmet ?

I need a new helmet and like the look of the Bell Custom 500:I like solid white.
I take size L. and I stopped at my local Cycle Gear but they didn't have one in stock.
How does it fit and does it get a 'two thumbs up' from you ?

Not sure about the 500…
But the moto 9flex is a great helmet for CR500
Thinking the new moto 10 might be a good replacement…

I ordered it site to store and it arrived today;tried it on and it fits very snug on a Large.

Do any of you ride with a type of thin covering over your head before putting-on your helmet?

I never had a.. 'helmet liner,etc.'? Type of thin fabric over my head. I like the idea because it might hold the sweat and keep it from getting into the helmet foam.

What do you use ??

How much will the helmet liner break in/shrink after some rides? In winter I have used a balaclava but usually it is too much and I have a neck and shoulder version that can tuck into the helmet for winter.  I just use the vent to control my head temp, prefer to be on cool side rather than sweating…
But, I do use a full face Arai instead of full face, in the event of an accident I prefer to keep my face intact…faceshields won’t always stay on a full face helmet if you take a slide…
