Good guesses, but the actual total investment in the bike was $12,461.34. It was a pleasure to preserve this one and it is special to me because of the story. I look forward to meeting Ken (Ryder3) who owned the bike for over 50 years. He plans to stop by and meet me in late October or Early November. I have sent him pictures and he seemed to be very impressed with it. He thinks it looks better than when he bought it. If he gives me permission, I will take a picture of him with the bike and post it.
I am very impressed with the way it runs and I am glad I got the new higher compression pistons. I went out for another ride yesterday and it was wonderful to hear the smooth, powerful engine. It seems to be in perfect tune.
I am not going to sell it but I am interested in your opinion on the value of the bike.
