Any other chopper underground guys on here?
« on: September 21, 2024, 10:17:41 AM »
I can't even remember my username on the old fourm (250 or bust?) I do know I sure learned a lot on the old forum.

This forum reminds me alot of TCU. Obviously not as much with the chopper stuff but the members are similar in their friendliness and willing to help out a newb like me.

Still wear my work jacket all the time. My TCU workshirt is way to big think it is an xl. If it is good to anyone just pay postage.

Would be cool if anyone is out there. Cheers.

That is a good question. I can't remember.

Blackjack helped me out a ton and really saved my ass from getting killed by poor frame design choices. Forever in hid debt

He is great. He was the first English chap I had the privilege of getting to know in some small part. Since I now have several English Brothers and they are quite a good time and put things very similarly to Blackjack, LOL

For sure man. Sold my Harley today. My buddy is going to bring the 78 cb750k into me next week. Ordered a set of z bars and a cafe seat for it. Gonna order the lucas style taillight tonight. Plan on bobbing the front and rear fenders. Probably going to ditch the rear grab bar and relocate the turn signals to the rear fender. Have some kz1000 forks and wheels but am probably not going that route. I will be busy for a bit  anyway, LOL.

Sounds like a good start to a brat style bike. I've got my 93 883 going to go back on the lift first after I get the garage set up . Then a 73 cb500 that's in my signature.
After those I've got a 77 CB750 and all men save your frame hoping to get a start on. No real Rush on any of it just taking it day by day. Hopefully you and I can draw some inspiration from each other on this great forum!
