Topic: Engine Oil Leak Repair

I have a small oil leak at the centre of my cylinder head gasket, a diffuse leak around the oil pan, and a leak which results in oil running down the side stand and also coating the gear change pedal.

None of these result in a great amount of oil loss, but they do result in a mess. I am not, as some will know, in a position to fix this definitively, so I thought about using this Rislone Engine oil leak repair stuff.

Has anyone any experience of this?

I haven't used it nor would I recommend it in these motors. Might clog the oil orifice and then ............

The oil on the sidestand is most likely coming from the chain oiler. It used to oil a little bit, but since the seal inside the countershaft has shrunk now, it oils more than needed. Just turn the little screw in the center of the countershaft inward a turn or so, this will only let it oil at higher speeds.

I think that is more for leaking seals than gaskets and as said i wouldnt use any thickening stuff on a honda
