78 750F PD 42A Carb question
« on: September 13, 2024, 12:02:18 PM »
Hi all,

I have PD42A carbs on my 78750F.  Carbs 2 and 3 have flat type O rings where the throttle shaft passes through the carbs (4 each) and carbs 1 and 4 have felt (2 each).  The choke shaft has all felt (6 each)  I cannot seem to find a part number anywhere or any information on the flat type O rings as mine are shot.  Does anybody know where I might obtain these?  Should I just replace these with the felt type?

Any information is appreciated and thanks in advance..

There never was a pqrt number for any of those parts, they only came with the bodies

They should be felt. Not available from Honda.
There are some sizes on ebay.
Check the diameter of yours.

Thanks.  I wasnt sure if you could replace the rubber O rings on 2 and 3 with felt.  Any idea why those 4 would be different?
