1976 K6 Anteres Red rebuilding project, was originally my brother's that I set up from the crate, it'll breath again soon!

2008 GL1800 my daily ride and cross country runner

Prior bikes....
1972 Suzuki GT380 I had charge of it for a year in 1973 while my friend was deployed and learned to love street riding....
New CB450 K7 after my friend returned...
New CB750 K5 Planet Blue, demise by ex cousin in law at 9,000 miles...
New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

Just spotted these results. Appreciate the votes, but feel a bit off about beating out such a lovely motorcycle! CFairweather did an outstanding restoration….. Kudos to you.

Thanks John.  I did put my heart into that one, and it will be my last CB750 restoration.  You have a nice bike and I congratulate you on the win.  Here are pictures of my other BOM losers :).  Both of these were in the worst possible condition and almost junk yard material.  I did everything to these myself, including the paint.  They were completely disassembled. 

I still own all three of these CB750s.

You both win with fantastic bikes. They are only original once John, lots of people appreciate that and their votes reflect it. Originals in nice shape are getting harder to find.
The K0s are getting financial love but the F and late K just don't get no respect! Makes them good buys if they are in decent shape. Makes me sad seeing some nice bikes have bargain basement prices on BaT when they are really nice and should command a lot more money.
I hope the nice bikes being sold stay that way and don't get hacked up by someone's "vision" lots of rougher examples to do that to...

All your bikes look like winnners to me! “Never say Never”. I was determined not to restore another one, when I stumbled on the Sandcast! All the best, John D.
