Yes. Princess Auto, it's very handy. It's listed as a motorcycle/atv jack.  Watch for the sale price.  Cliff

It looks really good with the round headlight without fairing.
It would be fine to own a low miler.

VHT Engine Paint and some polishing. The frame is almost ready for it, more cleaning and touch ups.

Dang Cliff you never fail to deliver, gorgeous work again. You know how to make a bike look very nice and that engine is going to really set off the looks, too bad so much of that hard work will be covered up once installed.

Motor's in with some wiggling and jiggling. It's so much easier than a SOHC as the lower right frame member detaches and the motor kind of slides right in. Makes it a one man job.
Thanks to Tom Kerxhalli's Youtube videos it was much easier both out and in. Now it shows some engine paint touch up's are needed.

Looks great Cliff, I hope you can do your touchups without them being too obvious, some careful color sanding to feather in the touchups probably will help if you like working with very low grit abrasives (high numerically graded sandpapers). Always seems new paint attracts scratches or nicks like a super magnet.
It looks great and I bet you are happy to have the motor back in... Some frame touch ups, motor touch ups and carbs reinstalled and everything wired up and you are going to be ready to review it and get it ready for fine tuning and enjoying. You guys don't get too much snow there, right? But it is pretty cold sometimes with the high moisture from the ocean. Took my wife to Seattle and then high speed up to Vancouver Island for day trip for an anniversary few decades ago. Loved the island, Seattle wasn't too bad then either... Now, I wouldn't vacay in Seattle unless paid to do it...
Canada, all day any day...if I can not have to discuss politics as trips to Ontario always led to political discussions as the Ontario folks wanted to talk politics (American) most of the time for some reason. I hated that aspect of visiting.

Looking forward to more photos as your work progresses.

Thanks RAFster! Please come to Victoria sometime, you'll enjoy it. Today is a grey "cold" day for Victoria, about 10 degrees celsius, or 50 F. It feels cold because of the usual dampness here near the ocean. With a wind it feels even colder. Friends ride all year long here, me not so much. At 75 I've become a fair weather rider even with a heated jacket liner. Plus when the city thinks the roads are going to be slick they put down brine which ends my riding. The salt kills the aluminium.
No political discussions please. They seem to dissolve into too heated discussions and test friendships.
The touch ups are fairly minor. The engine needed much cleaning and some paint. I had 3 covers polished This is not a down to the frame restoration as other of my bikes have enjoyed.
I've been polishing parts of the frame and the anodized parts and they look good. The bike's more of a survivor. The paint is not in the best shape and may be done in the Spring. A good friend had a red one and wants me to change the blue to red. Maybe this will happen.

Here's a good example of a Fall day here. The photo is from my home office window looking south westerly. We rarely get snow here.

I'm torn about the colour.I have more than enough red bikes so blue would be good for the herd.

I've polished a bunch but it still needs some attention to the thin spots, scrapes and scratches. With the current paint it probably will not qualify for the Collector plate program with cheap insurance. If it needs a complete repaint to qualify then I have a tough decision to make. It's always been my opinion that red bikes are faster anyway.  ;D ::)

The Collector plate program, sounds like they have strict guidelines.

The cycledrag guy had a short FB video of a 2014 cb1100 that has a Windjammer and lowers on it, I'm not a windjammer hater and thought it looked pretty cool.

You can't get a collector plate if the paint is original but has patina? That's messed up.

They seem to be flexible on some things like the exhaust systems and not so much on others. I'll have to send their required 6 photos with the application.

A little more done, time for the rear end. New bearings on the way to me, swing arm internals look good, lots of grease in there so no rust showing. Getting deeper into it than I anticipated but still fun.
