Thanks guys.

Yes, I'm still processing the fact than I've finally finished.

I appreciate all the support I have received this last few years; hospitality, expertise, parts ..... Without a back room team such as I had, I doubt I'd have managed.

The bike felt as if it was just getting into its stride on the last leg; she was purring along like a kitten. As for me; the less said the better!  🤣 🤣

Congratulations Sean!! I think its fair to say you have inspired us all with your perseverance and determination in finishing this trip and overcoming adversity and unexpected turns along the way. In this day and age of ADV bikes that can take you anywhere and everywhere you want to go (and fairly easily) you chose the more adventurous path of a 1971Honda CB750 - a classic adventure bike! Thank you for sharing with us!

All the best and a real pleasure meeting you!
Andy

Hi Andy,

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

If you return to Europe at any time, try to get down here to SW France - great biking area.

Stay well in the meantime.

Nice wine area too ;D
I'm sure there is good local food and wine to enjoy after a ride or while waiting for one wintertime.

That would be nice!
St Ferriol between Perpignan and Andorra?
My CB750 K6 has rolled that way 1988. From a cheap hotel for one night in Perpignan to Andorra, La Vella.

A hotel with a swimming pool on the roof.  Real tax free back then. Good sunglasses for half price as well as cigarettes and alcohol for less.

Ny wife is not that eager to sit behind on a bike, though
We talked about traveling to Avignon a few years ago. Famous wine around there. The local Châteauneuf-du-Pape for local prices ;D

That's the one PeWe; more between Carcassonne and Pas de la Casa though.
Andorra is still tax free; everything is cheaper, bike kit included.

We have some excellent wines around here too - Minervois, Corbières, Maury (which is a bit like a light port) to name a few.

You'd have to fly 1st or business on Air France to get decent wines these days Steve.
