Bill…. I saw that one. With shipping it was much more than the new one and shipping from the USA seems to take a long time these days. The new one I bought on EBAY is from China but the seller has great feedback for excellent quality and fast shipping. I’ll know soon enough……

The seller won't do the advertised Free Shipping to Ontario ?  I understand, you've already got a fresh one from a good source.  :)

The EBay one should be here in one week….. The vendor has really good feedback and DHL already has the package and sent me the duty/tax bill. Still was 1/2 the price of the Honda unit from CMSnl.com!

Well….. This just arrived. I week from China. Here’s hoping it works as well as the Internet, EBay, and the Courier! Less than 1/2 the price of an original Honda part (NLA)from CMNsl. 🫰

Good to see it John.
I hope it matches the reviews.

Still no spark! Stator and exciter coil next….. I believe the stator generates the power to energize the coil when being kicked over or using the starter motor? Not much left to try. All the other components appear to work…….

Nope….. He assured me I just had to “finish putting it together”. We’ll be having a compensation conversation when I’m done. Tim and one of the young mechanics that works in his shop came by yesterday and we even did continuity tests on all the wires in the harness.
