Fork offset data
« on: October 16, 2024, 12:08:16 PM »
Good afternoon all,
Is there a source to find out the offset dimensions of the front forks for various model years of the CB750’s? If so, I would appreciate the information, thanks.

The biggest difference is between the K and F but I don't have numbers. I bought a highly modified 750 that had 500 triple trees on it for reduced offset.

I understood K0-K6 were the same and K7 & K8 were different.

Been discussed many times in High Performance section. Do a search - for example a post by ‘Scotty’ dated 2/4/2019 lists fork offset for K0-K6 and F1-f3 as well as fork lengths etc.

I'm sure we had a discussion on this a couple years ago when I found the cb500 forks and triple trees on a cb750 frame. I did a search but didn't find the information yet.

Often, google does a better job of finding posts here than search does. This is a discussion of rake and trail which I assume relates to the question and your answers are there too.

 I'm thinking the 550 offset was 45mm.

The 550 offset is the same as the K7/K8 and the F models.
