My bike is less ratty than it was this morning...
« on: November 03, 2007, 05:20:18 PM »
Someone thought it was a good idea to spray paint my pipes black (previous owner).  Through a combination of paint stripper, SOS pads, Jack Daniels, and foul language, I was able to get the vast majority off.  The side of the pipe that faces the bike on the left side is really beat up.  Looks like a combination of pitting and rust that would not come out for anything.Good thing it faces inside.  No holes though.

Thanks. I cheated on the flanges though.  I had an extra (non painted black set)...
