Early (70’ko) top end oil seals
« on: December 03, 2024, 06:25:18 AM »
Geez, lots of changes, mine is a 33xxx which uses just the 2
11x2.5 above & below the cylinders. I see the new upgraded replacements are a square cut seal? Which way do they get used?
Nevermind it was an optical illusion! lol when I removed them from the tape, they’re just regular orings.

There are multiple posts about all of the available head gaskets getting thicker making it necessary to also thicken the O rings to prevent oil leaks. check it out.
