Beehive Valve Springs for CB500 CB250 CB350
« on: November 01, 2024, 09:18:56 AM »
Some more goodies for the little guys...;)  Ovate wire Beehive springs for your hotrod. These are the exact same springs as R/D Spring used to supply with exact same manufacturing materials, process and manufacturing. I'm working on a batch of heat treated 4340 steel retianers (4.5g) and will make a small run of Ti as well for the extra bling. I've been running the 4340 versions in my own bike for a few years now with these springs and work great. The retainers will work with either the 5mm KPMI stem conversion on the twins or the 5.5mm stem for the 500 based motors. I should have ratainers in a couple weeks . I have LOADS of springs as a decent qty were needed to even get my foot in the door. I run 5.5mm stem on both my 250K twin and 500 road race motors with lash caps and have resulted in getting rid of any valvetrain issues I had with the larger springs.
I sold some of these to British racers as well on small stem conversions

Note the LOW spring pressures and ovate-shaped wire...........very similar to Ferrea products that I use in my CB750 racer:)

Before I bought all the parts for my build I saw beehive springs on cycle x and they disappeared.  Would have liked to get my hands on them...
