Please bear with me
« on: November 05, 2024, 01:46:34 PM »
Gents,

I have alot of difficulty being social. I struggle in many aspects of my life. I do my best to be a good father and husband.

My mind operates best when it is working on mechanical problems. Working as an engine builder as well as a bike mechanic I was able to channel my ADHD into something useful. That is why motorcycles have always been a form of therapy for me even when not working in the field.

I may come off funny sometimes but I want you all to know that is not my intention. I am a student and I only desire to learn from the vast knowledge here on this forum.

I may be a bit socially awkward but I can assure you I would never do or say anything out of the way intentionally. I just sometimes don't know how to go about things.

So if I ask a question and I come off improperly I am sorry. I just really want to learn.

I spend a lot of time thinking. It can be very productive but sometimes when I go to convey my thoughts I don't do it properly cause I overthought it.

All in all I just want to say thank you to anyone that has helped or will help me in the future. I really do appreciate it.

So yes please bear with me as I struggle to convey myself in the proper manner at all times.

Thank you

As a fellow ADHD person I totally understand. This is a great community that I've been grateful to have been a part of for the last decade.

Keep on keepin' on my good man.
