Whilst I’m not particularly religious, I do enjoy a smoke, and even have a medical marijuana card. I’ve smoked on and off for 50+ years with no health issues apart from lots of broken bones from my 47 years in the Army. I can stop “cold turkey” and have a 5 year break (last time was 8 years) but I do enjoy this repulsive habit, so I’ll keep going for a while longer. I must buy some cigars, I haven’t had one in years. ;D

Wow 47 years of service. Good on you man. Thanks for the reply

Thanks mate, I’ve just put in a request for an age extension as I’m due to be compulsory retired in March.  If it goes through I’ll be able to stay in until 2028. I’m retiring from my day job (as a consultant with Army) at the end of next year and have been offered a contract with the Army program (Radars for anti aircraft systems) which will take me up to 2028. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
