What Mortorcycle Part Would You Get CT Scanned?
« on: December 23, 2024, 10:12:47 AM »
Hey Y'all,

I have access to a very nice CT scanner currently. I've been pondering what the most interesting motorcycle part to scan would be.

I've been thinking maybe ignition coil or condenser. Maybe speedometer?

Anyway, I have a garage full of just about every 70's motorcycle part under the sun, if you were me, what what would you scan?

note that the part has to be no bigger than 1ft^3. Also C.T. scanners are best at depicting changes in material density, keep that in mind when choosing.

I will post the results of whatever I scan here possibly this Friday or early next week.
Running and Riding: 71' Honda CT90, 73' Honda CB350F, 20' KTM EXC-F 500.

In Progress: 70' Suzuki TS90, 74' Honda CB750K

Back Burner: 66' Honda CB160, 73' Yamaha TX650

Forgotten in the Oven: 70' Honda CL350, 77' Honda XL350

Others I have mechanical custody of: 69' Honda CL125, 71' Honda CT90, 74' Honda Z50, 77' CB550F, 79' Honda CX500
