CB750k 4-2 exhaust system
« on: January 28, 2025, 05:24:58 PM »
Does anyone know where I can buy a good 4-2 exhaust? I like the exhaust on either side of the bike but looking for something cheaper than the new stock type. Thanks

Welcome to the forum Jake
Unfortunately there aren't any companies making new 4into2 systems at this point so used will be the only way to get hold of a set.
I just sold a set a few months ago to another member, they were made by Jardine back in the 70s and 80s.

What year is your bike?
77 & 78 K models are a bit different from the 69-76 in the mounting at the head and at the rear pegs, but can be made to fit.
Where are you located?
I might have a set with turn out ends that are on a K6 back in the corner of the shop.

I live in upstate NY. Its a K6. Everything is currently torn down so I wont be needing the exhaust for a while. Currently rebuilding the top end and going clean up and repaint the frame next.

Cool. I'm in southern NH.
Start a project thread on it. Post pictures of it how it started and as you go along. And include the history of the bike if you know what it is and your plans for it.

I actually have 2 sets with turn out mufflers.
This one on the K6 in my shop. They are in decent condition and have removable mufflers.

The other set came off a K4 and will fit your K6.
The have non removable mufflers, the mufflers should clean up so you have chrome. The head pipes have a bit of corrosion that might not clean to good chrome (they could be sand blasted and painted ceramic black or ??)
1 ding on the lower inside marked with the arrow.
