 I think the F2 cam would also benefit from a good set of valve springs, The F had a reputation for retainer failure, I believe it was the keeper/retainer design more than the ramp angles of the F cam.
 CycleX has some really cool beehive springs, light retainers and excellent valve control.

That would be doable. All the F2 cams I am finding on ebay have some rust damage or abnormal lobe wear

That was their reputation….ran higher rpms but not for as long…

Don't give up on that cam or the cruzin images pistons yet. Personally,  I'd try to seek out an automotive machine shop in your area to see if they'd be willing to fly cut those pockets. Preferably a high performance engine shop because they're familiar with this type work and would already have some type of piston vise on hand to set the correct valve angle. You'd be surprised what little they may charge for this work. Its worth a shot to get the results you're looking for in the cam of your choice.

Try to find a used cam. It must be  people having this cam on the shelf or under the bed.
