anybody ever get one of these? did this just bolt on the roof? might see what it would take to make one.

Wow!  Never seen one of those.  Wolf, if you have not seen a cb750 cover up close and removed, there are quite a few complexities besides the valve inspection caps...like a labyrinth for the breather and the tachometer drive gear.  Also the sealing surface would need to be milled flat.
If it works good, it looks good...

that is what the gentleman who showed me this ad said. the machinist would have to mill the valve cover with a modified tack plug. I thought it would be easier to make a vavle cover with extra material on top and have that milled. I would have liked to see one of these to see what it took to put one on. AND AT 69 BUCKS!!!

never seeing something like this before. I wasnt sure if this was a bolt on or if M&W just milled the top of cover or if they cast these covers so I would like to see one of these on a top.

Could involve a lot of labour and costs. What's wrong with the one you have?

1976 K6 Anteres Red rebuilding project, was originally my brother's that I set up from the crate, it'll breath again soon!

2008 GL1800 my daily ride and cross country runner

Prior bikes....
1972 Suzuki GT380 I had charge of it for a year in 1973 while my friend was deployed and learned to love street riding....
New CB450 K7 after my friend returned...
New CB750 K5 Planet Blue, demise by ex cousin in law at 9,000 miles...
New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

My house payment was $132/ month for mortgage, insurance and taxes. 4.5 acres in the country, 2 car garage on a main road.

yes it seems like this was a vintage ad long time ago. when the gentleman told me about this his machinist was going to do this for him but he died. i guess the machinist did this back in the day.
