#29, 62 miles, 6-3-2025.
Again to the Walmart Pharmacy to pick up scrip for wife. Then headed East on US6 to OH191, North to West Unity, hmm Deli not open yet, so headed back towards home, decided to do a big around the block and headed North on OH15. Turned east on US20, then South on 127, and hit the Deli about 10:05.

Chicken club sandwich and a piece of Pecan Pie that had my name on it :-).

Then on home.

Those big roosters belong to Muffler Man who lives on Rt66, he wants them back!

Ride #27, 06/05/2025, 80 miles.  Rode over to see my grand daughter graduate tech school this evening.  Lucked out on the rain on the way over, but got hammered in Urbana on the way home!  Had the NC with the Road 5 tires and they grip like crazy rain or shine.

Dennis...  70 SL175  74 CB550  79 CBX  82 Seca Turbo  2011 CBR  2012 NC700X

You will regret the bikes you DIDN'T buy much more than the ones you DID!!!  It's never too late to start a new adventure!

Ride #2, clicked off about 58 miles around lunch time today.

Saw this farm house out in the country and had to turn and get a picture, beautiful place.

#6 today. Gary rode the Gl1000 and I pushed out the old K4. I’d changed the RHS switch, the starter motor safety switch and a few other electrical bits over the winter. Subbed in the Hindle pipe I bought from “Flybackwards” and it all ran great. A bit louder than the old “Gemini” but my son will like it…… Breakfast at the local diner was good too!

Forgot to check but easily +75 miles. Our entire area is covered in a thick haze of forest fire smoke from Western Canada (thousands of miles away). Lovely day but quite surreal.

All right! Good ridin’ guys, except the rain showers were here Wednesday and the Canadian smoke today, health alert.
Nice farmhouse Denward: Big shady porch, big old tree in front, flag pole, and a restored tractor! I’m guessing that’s a Ford with the red and grey reversed. John, give my greetings to Gary and Chris.
Dennis, Buds badges might be here today, then you can get yours, woohoo! It’s difficult for me to just stare at them when they’re sitting on the table right there, just over there.

Lash, Dennis, Bill, anybody else, any address changes please let me know.

I’m gonna repeat my vows with my bride today, after 50 years, it’s a miracle that I remember anything from 1975.

Quick 63 mi. for #40 on the blue 750. No phone/no pics. Had to come home early to do some grownup things like cut grass and wash the car. Tomorrow the wife and I are taking the Goldwing and going to Guelph to attend a Red Cross safety course designed for bikers. Called Biker Down, its is available across North America on various dates throughout the summer. Good way to spend the day!

Congratulations Kevin on your 50 years!

#7 today, 97 miles, rode the wing again to my favorite candy store,  Honda Restorations(NOS parts), but I didn't by anything today!! Had to pay my bill from the last parts haul. Anyhow I took some different roads to have a change of scenery after riding my favorite river road, Rt 13 from New Boston to Goffstown and from there took half a dozen roads to get to Hookset, then picked up Rt28 to Rt 202/Rt 4 to 107, all the numbered routes are 2 lanes. Spent a few minutes talking with Steve about his doing some changes in his ebay marketing and found a few later ignition switches in a box I hadn't seen before but didn't need them.
The weather was partly cloudy with a few sprinkles, 73°F at 9:30, and warmed to 78 by 12:30 when I got back, same way retuning, as I liked it.
Had some work to attend to this afternoon and it got hot and humid in preparation for the storms tonight and tomorrow,  like #11 Saturday in a row of rain.....
Tomorrow I plan to get the K5 going and cleaned for Rick's Vintage Ridein on Sunday at Rick's Electrics in Hampstead NH, and it's supposed to be Sunny!! Wahoo!!!!!

Well less than 10 minutes after I wrote out today's ride, I went down to the shop and a few minutes later,  I heard a loud rumble over the A/C, dehumidifier and a fan running, I thought maybe I had a visitor in a big truck, I opened the door to the rest of the garages to look out the door windows, nope nobody outside. It was hammering down so I could barely see out the door windows and lightning 🌩 😩  cracking all around and a serious Gulley washer happening. It continued 20 minutes or more while I worked in the shop, several very close as the Crack Booms were almost instantly.
A river came down the driveway from the upper level doors and washed down onto the lower lawn.

^Remnants of that tropical storm that just went through SC/NC working it's way up north.  We got some rain from it to, flooded a town about 40 minutes south of where I live.

I had that same huge rumble of thunder and heavy rain at the house here just short of 40 miles away.
It's June in New England alright.

#30, 328 miles, 6-7-2025.

Rode to North of Indianapolis to Westfield Powersports, then back home. Nothing photogenic involved :-). Longest ride yet this year for sure.

It was pretty smoky from the Canadian forest fires. Most of the ride was right at 82mph. The only part that sucked traffic wise was right through Fort Wayne on 69N

Rode down to Guelph for the Biker Down first aid course on Saturday, 112 km. for #41. Very useful, but hopefully never needed skills. Also the first ride with the new, larger 2021+ trunk I installed on my 2018 bike.

Wow, lash that is a big trunk.
How big? Liters, kgs?
Liners, lights, speakers?
Do tell, I’m just guessing.

Trunk is 11 litres larger than the original one but will hold two helmets plus junk no problem. Speakers are built in and the trunk rack is much more solid. Also much cheaper than buying a new bike!
