I have been riding vicariously with you on your adventure, Stu. It has kept my spirits up during my down time, thanks for sharing.

+1
I think there are 4 riders still rolling
newday777 - not only riding big miles, but doing a mid-trip rear-end overhaul!
Ofreen - lots of sunshine in Idaho to warm it up, no clutter, no traffic, dramatic landscape, and a hi-mile 750, +++++
willbird - something to be said for heated gear extending the riding season, and the new bike can do it. Target 100?
Now jgger! - good to see you on the move.

My own CB is still in the starting grid but I don’t see much promising weather ahead.
Dennis what’s your status? Your temps are slightly higher than what I have.
BenelliSEI has your snow melted?
Gotta get Terry rolling….
Bud, looks like Stu slipped through Hill Country. From Nacogdoches to New Orleans.

Stu, you’re on the Little Feat Ride!

They were one of my favorite groups. And yes my plan looking at the map book early this morning is to head into Tyler for breakfast then south easterly towards New Orleans
I had intended to hook up with members along the way across the country, and yes to ride the Hill country,  I only caught the upper corner edge of it, but leaving 2 weeks late has been putting the weather change in full view to make it back to NH without weather delays. So it is onward I press on. I've been wearing my heated jacket liner but haven't had to plug it in yet.

Kevin….. it has been snowing non stop since early in the weekend! 4-6” of accumulation. The temp is hovering right around the freezing mark but reports call for significantly warmer over the next few days……

I still have the Varadero in the shop door, with all my gear hanging on it. Maybe one more?

Stu, what you’re doing is better than terrific and in spite of the middling hand that you’ve been dealt by the weather. I’d be a wreck by the side of the road a long time ago. To be trapped in Florida for the winter isn’t such a bad fate.😀 but that is not gonna happen to you.

John, does your area get lake effect snow? From Lake Ontario? From Lake Huron or Georgian Bay? I saw a blurb in the free press that Lake Michigan had dumped 11 inches of snow in Leelenau and Benzie counties, just west of Traverse City. Time to get the skis out.
Do you know if Lash is still riding? He has snow machines I recall? I thought he might have come for the G250.

#46 today, 11/12/25, for 263 miles.
54°F to start at 6am, 65°F at 10am on the road into town to get breakfast, a sparkplug wrench as I didn't put one in my bag....and an oil filter. Back on the road about noon, rode 2 lane roads as I was sick of I-20 truck traffic.
Rode to Natchitoches at 3pm and found a Bunkabiker Host willing to host me for the night about an hour south east of where I was down in Pollock LA. Uncle Jim and I have so many of the same hobbies, work and travels. We are having a great time getting to share our stories of our travels. He cooked up some burgers on the grille for us.
