Topic: Those short little windscreens

Does anyone know where to find one of those short windscreen for a CB750?

I was very, very patient (bid often, scored never but for the last one...) and acquired mine off e-buy for about $20 or so including shipping.  Helps deflect the blast of air off my chest when I'm riding in the cold (22F ride this morning) but buffets the head a bit at speed.  I'm still playing with the deflection angle, and it's a lot better (less turbulence) than when I first installed it.

I bought one of these thanks to recommendations and it fits and looks great. I got
the 15 inch one also, but I think if I had it to do over I would get the 18 inch one.
the 15 incher is a little too low for my taste...sorta like a sport bike.

That looks like mine. National "Street Shield"..got it from J.C. Whitney (I think about 60.00). They come in 15" and 17" Like the above, it made my ride much more tolerable, and is small enough that it doesn't mess the bike's looks up.

Mine started out life as a Slipstreamer Enterprise, I think.  The bottom little flaps were broken off before I got it, and being 6'4", I had to modifiy it a bit more to reduce the buffeting.  I ended up cutting 3/4 " out around the headlight and about 13 inches off of the top and squaring the top edge before I was happy.  It only serves as my cold weather kit, so it will come off pretty soon.  It does a great job of deflecting the wind off of my chest and hands.  The bottom tabs that mount to the headlight were cut from 0.046" stainless and bent, and the tabs that stick up from the top mounts are 1" aluminum angle.  The angle pieces took that last bit of buffeting away.

I can endorse the National Cycle Street Shield.  I had one on a CB900F.  It worked very well and mounted solidly.  It had plenty of adjustment, so I had no problems with buffeting.  I was always surprised how much protection it gave.   I had a brain fart and let it go with the bike when I sold it.
