stock engine pods = main jets

Hey all  I pulled the chopper outta cold storage  1970 frame 78 engine and redid carbs put K&Ns on and took out stock 105 jets put in 110s I guess not enough had to play with choke to get anything out of it above 3 to 4 grand so Ive got  115s and 120s what do ya think my vote is the 115s but was looking for some insight  ( I dont want to touch the needles) I am useing the old style carbs thanks for any input seven fifty four ever

PS it ran great with the stock air box and the 105s
seven fifty four ever its not the destination its the journey Ive been collecting these old dinasours for 33 years . they are quite an ICON

I've got old ass pods, and I'm running 125's. Still a bit lean though. I'm thinking 130's maybe 135's.

Ok guys thanks for the input but you have got to have your needles differant than me I know 25 years ago a bunch of us all had 750s and was allways pipeing rejetting and I did find that it is better to go with  a smaller jet size and adjust the needle to suit verese bigger jet size and adjust needle  some say six of one half dozen of the other but we allways got a better performing engine  I mean Ive got an 836 engine in my 73 K and running 120s and it runs GREAT but anyway thanx  again gonna put in the 115s and hopefully wont have to go up again to 120s have fun seven fifty four ever Craig in Maine
