Headlight Modulators
« on: January 27, 2025, 10:57:38 AM »
Does anyone on the forum use a headlight Modulator? For those that are not familiar, it switches the headlight from high to low about four times a second. It would seem that this would make a cars more aware of you and be a good safety feature. I plan to add an LED headlight  and that would be a good time to add the module.

I had one on my Goldwing made by Kisan. Comes with a sensor so that when the sun goes down it won't blink anymore. Years ago the police used to pull guys over and tell them they can't have one of those. I carry the law information on the bike to show them it's legal. I think they must have got the word as I never get stopped anymore. You still need to be on your toes as cars in front of you think you are the cops and pull over for you. I would turn it off as I came up on a car from behind. I also had one on my brake light too. That would blink for a few seconds when I applied the brake.

The cops in Alabama still hate those.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

From my experience in Alabama, there's a lot that the cops there don't like.

I believe they even hate black bikes for some reason.
