Topic: CB750 / CB500 parts exchange question

I am needing charge components for my CB500, and I have access to some CB750 parts. Will most of the parts work on the 500 system? Being it is still a 12 volt I am thinking they would. For instance, the rectifier.

The rectifier and Vreg interchange for the SOHC4.  The alternator doesn't, of course.

I picked it up on ebay a while ago for around $40.00 or so. They come up pretty often.
