First time I took my digital camera to the shop I suffered from seeing my greasy fingerprints on it. One year later, 3 Mp is old so I use it with no remorse and plan to keep it as a "tool", and I'll buy a better one for the "family" pictures. I picture everything. Even the spares before going to the boxes, so I know where is everything. I even have pictures of each bike from all points of view, that is, I just park the bike and start shooting close ups of wheels, disc brakes, mirrors, instruments, engine etc. In case I need to buy something I can quickly check compatibility from my computer without having to go to the garage. And it also helps when you have to post a picture to help somebody; you always have a picture of that part of the bike. Don't forget to shoot from below to see the oil pan, lower side of the exhaust etc.
