The other day I was googling for "Steve McQueen" filmography because I wanted to know the original title of a movie I knew in spanish. Found a page with his complete filmography and there was one called "on any sunday" and said it was a documentary.
So I got my emule working, downloaded it, and I have to say it's a VERY interesting documentary. Shoot in the early seventies, McQueen appearance is almost testimonial. It covers dirt track, trials, Elsinore, desert racing, widowmaker hillclimbing.... I even got a thrill when the ISDT held in El Escorial -near Madrid- was covered.
It smells seventies from everywhere. From the dressing style to the hairstyle -you will only see more sideburns in an Elvis impersonator contest- to the groovy soundtrack, it's a great way to spend 90 minutes. Do yourself a favour and go get it!!!
