These are pictures of the tank and seat I am using on my K0 cafe. Made in Germany by Habermann. Originally painted candy gold by the manufacturer.

Very, very nice.  How did you come across that set?  Any German members care know more about this Habermann company?

Believe it on not , it was a gift from a customer of mine when I owned a Honda dealership. He worked at JFK airport with a fellow who had family in Germany. One day he returned from a trip there, and gave it to my customer, who gave it to me. He said I was the only person he knew who would actually put it to good use. This set also came with "clip on "style handlebars. However, thet don't clip on. They bolt through the upper pinch bolts and into the upper fork caps.

Yes, Herr Habermann was a producer of aftermarket accessories in the 70's and 80's.  His product line was most associated with large capacity touring tanks for BMW's, although obviously he produced some parts for other marques.

Although the silver tank and seat are perhaps the nicest Habermann parts I've seen, not all of the Habermann designs were so successful or elegant!  RR

Wow, Nippon!  That's a good looking tank.  Looks like you're on your way to building a really fine cafe racer.  Keep us posted on your progress!  Thanks. RR

Does anyone have detailed pictures about fuel taps/petcocks. Currently petcocks are hold in place by epoxy glue and there are no threads in the tank.
