Low Compression and Carb settings
« on: March 26, 2007, 06:52:44 AM »
I recently picked up a 1975 cb125s. Its not running well. Does an engine with low compression require a rich fule mixture.  Also is their a forum on the internet specifically for the twins and single.

Yahoo has a group for small Honda singles, don't know of any forums.

Rich or lean, if the compression's too low it won't run.  If you are far below 100psi, no adjustment to the mixture will make any difference.   :P

An engine with low compression requires a rebuild. ;)
