Some more goofy shots.... In keeping with my ghetto-fabulous elbow grease special, I cleaned the spokes on my wire wheel, wiped 'em down w/ some acetone and gave them a quick suirt of paint. If only you could grow spokes..... Also polished up the hubs, took a wire wheel to the center / ribbed sections and painted the rims.
Again, these were just a little too pitted and rusted to shine up nice - even with the buffer.... so, 5 more bucks on a can of wheel paint - good as new. Pressed in some new bearings (my brother-in-law gave me a hydraulic press that he bought on e-bay for 40 bucks) so maybe tomorrow I'll lace them up.
