         Well Ward, personally, I don't seehe big deal about the material used for the exhaust brackets.  I don't imagine that the bike will perform poorly because of it. While the choice of material may, or may not be exact, it's still basically the way they were mounted. Here's another one of an earlier period and it has a different exhaust.   Later on, Bill  :) ;)

Billy, the bike in the first pic is very nice,...the #2 bike looks crap but I would go for that one every time.

The front brake is a dead givaway, It's the factory built racer based on the 444cc black bomber.
It was built for Bob Hansen to race, he was sorta in charge of Honda US at the time.

        Hey Sam,

                 Good to see you in on this. I always look forward to your input because I know it's gonna be interesting. Any input on the Honda racers is appreciated. I thought the first one was a pretty decent looking bike myself. I can understand what you're saying about the 2nd one though. Thanks again for sharing your your thoughts Sam.
