Is this bike worth the effort.
« on: April 05, 2005, 08:26:21 AM »
This French guy has offered me an early 750K, it's been messed about quite a lot but is very clean. The problems include: Lot's of parts missing, kickstart, indicators, headlight, switchgear, and lots more, has non standard front muguard, wheels, oil tank, petrol tank and seat unit. The carbs are also non standard and the engine has a very strange finnish to it. Non standard 4 into 4 pipes without baffles. The bars have been changed most of the wireing is missing and is dosn't seem to be charging anymore. The more I think about it the more needs doing...see pics below!

Are you messin' with us? That bike looks like a CR replica. It also could have many valuable parts on it!! If you're not joking I would seriously consider it.

The French guy said it had one careful owner but amongst the paperwork it looks like it needed a camchain at it's first service.

There seems to be something strange about the foot controls too.
