all right guys... i've posted this on our local vintage group website but even some of those people only spend time on this site. so, if you live near denver or want to make a trek, here is your official invitation.
hey! it's decided. be here promptly around noon and we'll go for a ride around one-ish.
i know i've done this w/ some of you before but, peak to peak would be nice (if the weather is). we could go up to nederland via boulder canyon then, up and over and down and around into estes, thru lyons, longmont and finally end up at my house for a bbq treat. and of course booze. so, just fuel up (you AND the bike) before we ride then we'll refuel when we get back to my house.
the ride is tentative and if you have suggestions i'm willing to listen.
and... you may have guessed i'm fairly well stocked on tools. and now that we have a 2 car garage work space please feel free to partake.
if you feel like bringing something to add to the party, feel free but not obligated.
if you wake up that day and gloom is in the air w/ more than a 50% chance of rain, this will be delayed until further notice. (possibly, the 30th, 31st or 1st.) i will give you the yay or nay on cancellation via message board.
Directions: go north out of denver on I-25. exit at highway 7 and go west (toward the mountains). the exit says to lafayette. it is about 8 miles to lafayette from I-25. left on south public road (it is a stoplight). 2 blocks to a right on simpson. we live at 211 simpson at the longmont road intersection. park on longmont street (the side w/ the garage.)
