Topic: Most popular aftermarket exhaust is.................

Since a new system for my K1 will be roughly $1400 and the bills are mounting for the engine rebuild etc., I'm considering an aftermarket system. Are there any favorites out there? I'd like to stick to a chrome system with a good healthy growl.

I like the look of the MAC 4-2 turnouts, although I did end up finding some half-good/half-beatup pipes for my K1...
Good luck though, the mac pipes will probably run you around $330 or so...

I second Jims recommendation. I have a new set of Mac 4-2 turnouts ready to install on my rebuilt K4....had them before and like that throaty sound. Of course I also have a set of 4-4 stock so I have best of both worlds.

Original good used HM300's ebay for around $300-$500 and they make the bike.

a jardean system with a custom V/H race only slip on

didn't have to make an adapter either

although I did cut the rivets out of the aluminum can as to rotate the can

to match the angle of the slip on

sounds nice and loud too

Kerker. Best aftermarket exhaust I have ever had on a cb750 (not that I have had many). Looks good, plenty of clearance, and sounds awsome (not obnoxious loud and has a growl like an old Gran Prix car)

That Marshall Deeptone does look good.  They even have it for my bike, too.

I am happy with my $200 MAC 4 into 1 (de-baffeled of course).

I still want to bring the "can" alittle closer to the bike, but for the price I paied I am happy...
