Bullet connectors
« on: August 16, 2007, 05:56:26 AM »
When repairing bodged or burned out looms, you may find the japanese bullet connectors hard to get.  I recommend a company called vehicle wiring products, which sells japanese bullet males, females, double females and the plastic covers to go with them.  They also sell shrink wrap, tape, cable ties and wire.  I prefer to use a proper crimp to fit bullets to the wires rather than soldering because the aging copper wiring tends to go black making it difficult to solder

The link to their website is - www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk

Yamiya also has a pack of bullets with protectors for $15.  Comes in a nice plastic holding container.

www.vintageconnections.com sells some nice "OEM" hardware as well - I've been pretty happy with their stuff.
