Busy and Evicted
« on: April 02, 2007, 10:16:31 PM »
Have not been around because I have been busy cleaning up my act. The drinkin was screwing up the biz as well as my life. Then the building I was in was sold and the new owners pulled an illegal eviction giving me a whole 2 days to move. And the refused to give me a written pay or quit.  >:( Anyway I figured I would drop a line. I am working on another shop (might be going in on a spot with a Tattoo shop, but for now things are going on hold while I prep the garage for working in.

Funny thing is the greedy fools thought they would get some of the Anubis Cycle stuff. We moved the shop in 12 hours.  ;D :D

Good luck on a new start.
Giving up the booze will free you up.
You may not notice the benefit for a while, though.
Hang in there.

(might be going in on a spot with a Tattoo shop,

I worked in the biz for a number of years, (proffessionally).

One thing about working in a shop as opposed to working out of your home, it's considerably a lot more work. You need to be 100% every day, you simply cannot afford to have a bad day.

If you have a problem with drinking, take care of that first.

Not only for your health, but you will not last long in the tattooing biz if you #$%* up too many tattoos because you were drunk/hung over.

Good luck with all this.

Thanks guys. Funny you mention the money part heffay. I now have more money in my paypal than I have had since the inception of the biz.

This all brings in new starts. So Rabia will stopped for now and I will be doing a Marine Corps theme bike. I have some real hot ideas for it and think it will pull top dollar. Something we need right now to get in the other shop. I think it will be cool having a tattoo shop right next to us. I could provide service while you get your new tat.  ;D One stop shopping..... well sort of.

The hardest part is hunting down the things that were moved so I can make use of them.

I can say I feel much better now. I had thoughts of putting dead fish in the walls, welding the garage door shut, flipin road kill on top of the office where no one could see it (only smell it), super glue in the locks, pissing the air conditioner/heater, hot wax in the drains, and the list goes on. But I did none of them.  ???

Can you get funds from the new or previous owner due to violation of a lease contract? Sounds to me like you were set up, maybe by the previous owner. Talk to an attorney, you have rights and they were compromised, to say the least.

Best of luck with the drinking, we are all pulling for you and are all here if you need us.

Tom, I'm so sorry that you are facing some hard reality, but I'm glad you're standing to the storm.  Truth be told, that doesn't surprise me, given what I know about you.  My prayers are with you.  I would not tell give you advice; however, I can tell you that I'm watching alcohol destroy a couple of my friends.  I've got another who started going to AA a few years back, and to know him now, you'd never think he had a problem with anything.  You'll find your way, and I pray it is smooth.

I quit drinking when I (finally- I'm slow) I figured out why I felt like #$%*e every morning.

A friend got a REAL healthy settlement as a result of an illegal eviction.  I can't belive you're letting them get away with that.

In the small time revenge dept, I taped a banana peel behind a guys desk and listened all summer to him complain about all the flies.  Gee, that was funny.
Another thing you can do is swirch keyboard keys around a little.  Just 2 or 4.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Tom,  I'm glad that you didn't put dead fish into the walls. Revenge takes more effort than it's really worth. You're a bigger man for it. Good luck to you man.

Some of my favorites:

1. Pour a bottle of fish oil into someones cabin filter on their car (right by the wipers). That crap smells so bad he will want to sell the car right then and there...
2. Take a can of 'great stuff", freeze it, cut the top off and launch into someones open window/sunroof/etc.. Also works with shaving creme but great stuff is more of a mess and does more damage. It melts leather seats on contact.
3. Pull shrader valves outta all 4 tires and then re-install plastic cap back on valvestem very loosely.
Just a matter of time before they go flat, and no-one carries 4 spare tires with them..
4. Put a few pennies behind someones center cap on their car. The noise will drive them insane.
5. If you have the time imbed little rocks into someones windshield wipers. The minute they turn them on the windshield gets destroyed.

Enjoy  ;)

I never knew just how devious you could be Joe, gotta respect these ideas, but why not DOT 3 brake fluid on the cars paint job? Peels the paint down to bare metal, or whatever.

while we are on these...

A container of chicken livers. Let sit in sun until ripe   :-X. Just poke a hole or two in the lid and hide in your favorite place. ::) That will gag you even through a respirator  8).

And yes I feel better for not doing any of these. I have only pulled but one prank to date and that was releasing lab mice from the high school lab. But it sure is funny think of these.

One could get carried away and end up nuttier than squirrel shyte.  :D

A co-worker got back at a fellow by saving the cleanings form his cat's litter box and dropping them under the windshield wiper cowling of the guy's car (where the cabin air intake is!). The black plastic gets nice and hot and after baking in the sun all day the smell of cooked cat droppings permeates the car....  ;D

My all-time fave was a guy I worked with at the engine shop who came back from lunch to find a guy sitting on a pulled-out drawer of his toolbox (a big no-no). The drawer never would close properly after that and the guy who broke it refused to fix it. So, the next day when the guy who broke the drawer went out to lunch, the fellow who had his toolbox damaged rolled the other guy's box out from the wall, drilled a hole in the back, screwed in a Zerk fitting, hooked up the pneumatic grease gun (with a full grease cartridge) with a zip-tie on the trigger. He moved the box back in place and let the grease gun do it's thing... When the victim returned from lunch his toolbox was filled with grease. He removed all the tools and cleaned them in the parts washer. It just so happened this was the day for the Snap-On salesman to drop by, so the fellow traded in his geased-up box (the salesman never looked inside!) for a new one.  About 2 hours later the Snap-On guy came back pi$$ed as hell...

My favorite is direct from my Uncle who works construction.  Had a co-worker on the site that always lounged during the day then hit the ground running at quitting time.  Filled up the backhoe loader with cinderblock, lifted the truck up with the backhoe and put 4ft of cinderblocks under the front/back axles.

Every time I heard the story, the truck got a bit higher in the air.

I knew a guy who was the victim of a prank.  He just had some hemmoroids removed that week and went to "see a man about a horse".  When he sat down he felt an intense burning in the area of his fresh wounds, he quickly stood crouching over the pot splashing cold toilet water over the affected area trying to extinguish the rectal flames.  When things subsided he looked and realized that some guys had taken twelve or more Taco Bell Fire Sauce packets and twisted them just short of thier bursting point and placed them gingerly back under the toilet seat ready to explode on the unsuspecting victim who sat down!
