Anybody have a 750 petcock on a 650 of the same year? Vice versa?

I found an 82 CB750K petcock that looks identical to mine...ebay fella is not answering my questions. So...anybody ever run a 750 petcock on a 650? Is there any real reason a 750 would have larger diameter bung? Different threads? No right? Just want to make sure before I buy it.

I just replaced my 79 650 one, seems the same part number etc but maybe you should check first.
If I could ahve got a 750 one I'm told it would have fitted.

Thanks hush. The 82 750 seems to have a different part number for some reason though they look identical. I think I am going to go ahead and buy a new 80 cb650 one.

Oh yeah, my original thread is now the number one result for "82 cb650 petcock" in google.
Maybe we can start selling them.  ;D

My first "guess" would be yes.  But you never know untill you try.
