My Honda's logo - inspired by forum - came out great!
« on: April 04, 2007, 08:37:48 am »
Hi everybody!

I just did it! I prepared it at home (using our forums logo as an idea), went with it to a friend with a proper cutting plotter, and pronto! Here's the result.

If anybody wants I have it ready in CorelDraw format. Just pass me your email.

Best Regards!
Welcome to my mountains!

Thanks! I just thought that this will be the simplest solution. Here it is attached. Just download it, and change the extension to .cdr (as forum wouldn't accept .cdr extension), and you can use it!

When it comes to cutting - I paid today equivalent of 7U$, but that was price for a friend. For a normal customer it would be like 10 bucks... I think I could mail it then... (I'm from Poland, so the letter would go like a week, but I don't see any problem :) )
Material - this friend of mine has a small advertising company, and he uses the typical stickering foil. I'm no expert, but this is the stuff you use on the car labelling and so on. I hope it's gonna stay. If not - heck, I can spend 7U$ per year just to keep it pristine! :)

Anyway - just as an encouragement - sit down on your computers, and nice things happen!

Best Regards!

Doug, you thinkin of putting those on in place of the spiders?  Mabey do it in black and red?

Yeah maybe,  I am lukewarm on the spiders.    :-\

I have a buddy at the local custom t-shirt / sign shop/ etc.....think he said they have a machine that will do the vinyl.  ;D

Doug, I almost hate to say it for fear of being struck by lightening....but those spiders are the ONLY thing I'd change on your outstanding cycle.....they just don't seem to go with it.   I'll cut you guys some stuff for free...no biggie.  just can't make it an everyday thing.  send me your files and color choices - I have a pretty good selection of vinyl, but most of it is pretty standard colors.   pay it forward as they say....

could you do a pair that read "cb 605" for my cafe? I took the emblems off the side covers (cb500) specifically because they were no longer accurate.

btw, can you do boat lettering?

Hi Greenjeans,

Thx much for offering to print these off for me...that would be great. 8)  I need to find some way to open the CDR file though and change it to 550.

Can't have false advertising.....  ;) ;D

Hey Greenjeans, once you get one of those files could you alter it for a CB750?   ;D  I'll pay whatever the fair rate is, of course.   ;D

Buber, I think you've started something here!

BTW, any relation to the author/philosopher Martin Buber?

I need a file that reads 550 in stead of 650. How about doing a complete set of decals for all the major CB displacements like 350., 400, 500, 550. 650. 750. Putting those for download on the sohc/4 server?
'77 CB550K Technical rebuild done and riding. Cosmetics must wait till winter
'78 CB550K3 beautifull but engine needs rebuild.

I modified the 650 to be 550.

I also stretched a little vertically but you can undo that if you don't like it.

Why not a pdf Steve?

Because I don't have anything other than Adobe Reader and can't modify pdf files.

Anything that can be imported to Photoshop will be fine.

I have some files that have the old honda wing, new honda wing and the other design.
Vector-based files.... Illustrator & Flexi-sign.  Any sign shop should be able to open and them & resize/cut etc.  Anybody know where to send them to get them so everyone could download them?
SOme of the files are larger than 80k - can't post them.....

BTW - I can convert vector graphics so not just Photoshop files...
