Marshall deeptone exhaust
« on: June 10, 2007, 10:28:14 PM »
Has anyone used one of these systems before? I am looking for a replacement exhaust system for my '81 650 and found these online. I want an exhaust with a nice low note. How's the quality? Hows the sound? (looking at the 4-1)

Go for it mate, I've never owned a Marshall pipe, but I've read a lot of good reports about them from Britain, the quality is supposed to be very good, with a nice throaty note. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Canuck.

I was looking to get a Marshall set-up for my bike too.  I have heard a lot of good things. But, the only suppliers are from the UK - at least those that I could find. Have you had any luck finding a distributor closer to home (Canada)?

Check out LM Spares (UK) as well, they have a good selection.

pipes will change colour (blue) as they are single skin , but then so are all aftermarket ones. Sounds good but not quietest on market, that would be Motad.
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

I'll be picking one up, sooner than later, now that I've just discovered an exhaust leak in my left pipe.  Too bad, though, because I really liked the 4-2 exhaust.
