« on: March 14, 2007, 02:39:27 PM »
I was surfing this evening looking for a possible replacement for my 1999 Yamaha majesty 250 scooter for something a bit smaller and nimbler and I came across a possible replacement,  as I was checking out thesellers feedback I came across this gem below have a look at this...check out the "Features" of the bike.. made me cry!

I have seen worse sohcs here before they were restored! I bet if someone wanted to put time into it, the bike would be just fine. Now before someone says, "why would you put time into that?" Remember, there are a lot of people who would say that about our bikes.

Well I have actually now committed to buy a scooter (Aprilia Leonardo 250) from this guy. I spoke to him this morning and he's a "JOLLY NICE CHAP!"

Hope the bike I'm getting is as good as he says it is..... bearing in mind the above I'm pretty confident of his honesty....

The following photo is what really got me wondering:

The green stuff seems to be growing on the *engine*! To make matters worse, it's growing on the white stuff that already grew on there.

Good find loonymoon.  :P
