I have a shiny chrome F stand on my CB750K2 and as far as I can see the F stand is shorter - It dosent quite hit the sidestand rubber on the 4-4 exhaust. Different size. Not sure about lean angle as its on the center stand awaiting a new rear tire....:-(

cheers
Andy

I just put a set of shorter shocks on. I can't afford a 2x4! :-\ There're on ebay all the time for $80. The ride if way better than the stock shocks.
The thing about common sense is that, it's not that common.

UPDATE UPDATE...

Well I got my frame back from the sand blaster yesterday (two weeks late!) and found the problem. The side stand mounting bracket on the frame was damaged. The whole bottom side weld line was pulled away from the support tube. The PO had even placed body putty in the crack to "hide" the problem...

No big deal... A little welding before powder coat and all will be well.

I will take pictures so all can see the damage.

Picture!

Well here are the pictures of my freshly sand blasted frame and the obvious weld damage and boss bend. You add the extra 10° from this and now I know why the bike excessively leaned when on its side stand...

Trick play with the bondo'd cracked weld!! Some po's should be slapped around! Good luck with the build!
